Satay Chicken Thighs

The beautiful spices and herbs of galangal, garlic, lemongrass, tamarind - are mixed with quality peanuts to create an absolutely divine creamy satay sauce. Use as a marinade for chicken thighs then BBQ for caramelised crispy edges.

Ingredients

  • 8 Chicken thighs

  • 1 Jar Turban chopsticks satay sauce

Method

  1. Place chicken in a bowl and marinade with satay sauce - over night if you are organised.

  2. Heat BBQ on high, place thighs and grill for 20 minutes, turning once. Aim for caramelised edges.

  3. Place on a serving plate, cover and rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Satay Chicken Burgers

Marinade chicken as above (reserving 2 tbsp of satay sauce for later), BBQ the thighs & toast bread rolls. Build your burger with grated carrot, cucumber sliced thinly lengthways, coriander & kewpie mayo mixed with the reserved satay sauce. Tuck in!
